With the theme “Roaring into Summer with Dinosaurs!”, DINOSAUR SUMMER 2025 was a purposefully designed 8-week learning journey for children aged 12 months to 6 years. This experience combined an international academic curriculum with emotionally engaging explorations, supporting children to develop observation, reasoning, communication, and emotional expression naturally and holistically throughout the summer.

Each dinosaur model served as a meaningful puzzle piece, helping children naturally connect classroom knowledge with the world around them

Children at Busy Bees discovered the prehistoric world of dinosaurs through immersive and age-appropriate experiences. From learning about dinosaur features and habitats to hands-on activities like fossil egg creation, footprint tracing, and storytelling through art, every moment nurtured curiosity, observation, and personal expression in meaningful ways.

A highlight of the program was the JPARK field trip, where children stepped into a life-like dinosaur environment. Through interactive exhibits and hands-on exploration of the dinosaur life cycle from egg to full-grown creature our young explorers made real-world connections that extended their classroom learning.

As parents stood beside their children during the end-of-summer event, the season’s journey concluded in a warm atmosphere of connection, pride, and heartfelt celebration

DINOSAUR SUMMER 2025 was seamlessly integrated with the UK National Curriculum – Early Years Foundation Stage (Key Stage), ensuring both academic and emotional development across core areas:

  • Early Literacy in English: With 100% English immersion, children expanded their language thinking through storytelling, interactive questioning, and idea-sharing.

  • International Maths: Concepts such as shapes, patterns, measurement, and quantity were explored through hands-on games, sorting activities, and practical modeling.

  • Critical Thinking: Topics like fossils, extinction, and habitats provided rich contexts for children to practice age-appropriate reasoning, problem-solving, and reflection.

This summer learning experience did not emphasize rote memorization but rather empowered each child to explore in ways that matched their individual pace and strengths. Children were guided not directed by teachers who served as facilitators and emotional anchors, observing attentively and encouraging discovery through open-ended questions.

As they journeyed through Dinosaur Summer, each child at Busy Bees not only advanced academically but also deepened their capacity to collaborate, empathize, and thrive in a supportive, inspiring environment.
