The fourth week of the course marked an unforgettable memory with an impressive field trip, where our little bees immersed themselves in a grand feast of light under Van Gogh starry sky and visited the Creative Gara woodworking studio.
Meeting Van Gogh: Stepping into the Grand Feast of Light and Color
During this special trip, our little bees were immersed in an artistic space featuring over 900 paintings by the renowned artist Van Gogh. Masterpieces such as “The Starry Night,” “Sunflowers,” and many others were vividly recreated, leading the kids into an enchanting world of art.
Beyond just viewing, our children also experienced the beauty of art through their senses. The exhibition was designed for interaction, allowing our bees to touch the vibrant sunflowers to feel the fresh and strong colors of “Sunflowers,” and stretch out their arms to embrace the twinkling and mysterious lights of “The Starry Night”.
Observing the paintings, little bees were encouraged to describe what they saw and felt, helping to develop detailed observation skills and stimulate imagination. Our teachers always posed interesting questions to spark discussions about the emotions in the paintings, from joy and happiness to sadness and loneliness.
Fun and Lively Science Experiments at Creative Garage
The summer course also gave the children an exclusive opportunity to delve into the world of science at the Creative Gara woodworking studio. Here, they immersed themselves in the vibrant and engaging world of science and mathematics.
Our little engineers designed cute and colorful wooden cameras in various shapes like polygons, rectangles, trapezoids, circles, and squares. Through the meticulous processes of sanding, assembling, and creating the cameras, the children not only honed their craftsmanship but also cultivated creative thinking, resilience, and an appreciation for geometric forms.
To help the children easily understand science, Creative Gara organized many hands-on experiences transforming dry scientific concepts into captivating experiences. Through elegant activities such as cycling and engaging with Buzz Wire, children effortlessly and enthusiastically discover the wonders of energy transformation and electricity flow.
